Buckingham House: Our Purpose-Built Conference Centre

Purpose-built conference rooms in this modern centre provide facilities for product launches, Summer schools, receptions and conferences. The private foyer leads to the raked lecture theatre and a flexible range of syndicate rooms and offers a beautiful reception area, which overlooks the decking area and gardens.

35 modern, stylish en suite bedrooms offer accommodation outside of Term.

The Foyer

The light, airy Foyer creates an immediate sense of arrival, with large granite registration desk, spacious area for networking overlooking the decking and gardens and a central catering area.

The Lecture Theatre

The tiered lecture theatre is an impressive but user-friendly space seating 140 people in air-conditioned comfort. There is good access for wheelchair users and an audio-loop for the hard of hearing.

• 6m x 3.5m screen

The Seminar Room

The air-conditioned Seminar Room seats up to 60 people theatre style, or 30 boardroom style and can be divided into 2 soundproofed rooms, each seating 30 theatre style or 15 boardroom style. The room is equipped with a fixed data projector, screen and microphone. The room has plenty of natural daylight and overlooks the decking area and gardens.

Syndicate Rooms

Available outside of University Term time, the 1^st and 2^nd Floor Syndicate Rooms will each comfortably seat 22 people theatre style, or 14 boardroom style.

Outside of University Term time, the 35 en suite bedrooms in Buckingham House offer excellent accommodation for resident delegates. These bright, modern rooms ensure a good night’s sleep and first class working environment.
